Semester Two Information

This is a message to the Oromocto High School community,

Tomorrow marks the start of the second semester and students will be returning to classes for the second half of the school year. Thursday morning students will go to their AP teachers classroom from semester one at the bell. Students will remain in their AP classes until after O’Canada and a newly printed second semester schedule is handed out. After this students will then go to their period one, second semester class and will follow their semester two schedule as usual for the remainder of the day.

Report cards will be handed out during Advisory Period tomorrow. Students who would like to see their semester one teacher to review grades/assessments can make arrangements with their teacher during breaks or lunch.

All students are scheduled based on their course selections and alternates. Course changes are kept to an absolute minimum at the grade 11 and 12 level and students who need course changes to meet graduation requirements, post-secondary admission requirements, or for courses that have been cancelled will be considered. Students must obtain a course change form from any of their teachers and drop this off in the Guidance department. Students must continue to attend all courses on their current schedule while waiting for Guidance to determine if a course change is available.

For those parents who have access to PowerSchool Parent Portal it is now open to view. For parents who would like access please come in to the office during regular business hours to obtain information on how to register.SEMESTER TWO IMPORTANT DATES 2017_2018.pdfSEMESTER TWO IMPORTANT DATES 2017_2018.pdf
