Good evening GLEE families...
Count down is on...less than one week until the big trip! Here is info
to help you prepare for the day. If you have any further questions,
please let me know!
7:00-7:30am Meet at Park Street to find your chaperone/group and parents can exchange phone numbers
7:30am SHARP - Bus leaves for Charlottetown
11:30/11:45ish Bus arrives at Confederation Center
11:45-12:45pm Lunch in the park next to CC as well as visit Canada House if you have time...the birthplace of Canada!!!
12:45-1:15pm Group pic outside CC and explore inside CC with your group and get seated for the show
1:30-4:30pm Anne of Green Gables!!!
4:30-5:15pm Cows Ice Cream and supper?? lol
5:15-9:15pm Bus home to PSS
It's a pretty tight schedule, but the day is always super awesome!!
Here is what you will need for the day:
Please wear your GLEE shirts and dress in layers (extra sweater/hoodie etc).
Make sure you have food packed for lunch, snacks and supper and lots of water/juice for the day.
Cows Ice Cream cost is on you - so if you would like one, please bring $5 or so for a scoop :)
You can bring pillows/blankets to cuddle up and maybe nap with your bus buddy!
You can bring iPads/mp3/devices as long as you have ear buds - bus driver's request please.
Chaperones for the day: Andrea M., Melissa D., Penny K., Melissa B.,
Angela M., Kim B., Kelly D., Anthony H., Faith S., and Cathy G. -
basically you will each have 2-3 students in your group - easy peasy!
For those of you meeting us there - we will be in the park next to CC
and would love to have all the GLEE members there for a group pic around
12:45pm. Please remember your GLEE shirts!
I'm sure I have forgotten things...please let me know if I did! Thank
you again for agreeing to embark on this musical journey with the kids.
It is a trip to remember for many of the kids - for me too (although
this is my 9th time seeing the show...I do it
for them!!) I will have trial packs of Robax Platinum for all of you
for the next day!! lol
