We will be starting our Practice-A-Thon Fundraiser on February 5th!
Students will be coming home with information sheets today (I’ve also attached
them to this email). I would like to explain a few things about our Practice-A-Thon.
First and foremost, this is an event to get students to practice
(as we find at this time of year students can get into a bit of a practicing
slump) and to work together as a group to encourage their peers to spend some
more time practicing. The fundraising part, although it
will be a great help in raising funds for the music program, IS
in any way.
Two of our three prizes are focused on the time spent practicing,
one for the individual who practices the most and a pizza party for the section
that practices the most(on average.) Neither of these prizes have to do with
fundraising as I want everyone to have an equal opportunity to participate and
have a chance to win.
If anyone has any more questions or concerns, please do not
hesitate to contact me.
Have a great Monday!
Here is an update as to where we are performing and what you need to wear:
Sunday, Dec 3rd Kingswood Lodge
We sing from 7:30-8:00pm so arrive at 7:15pm. Wear white and black.
Tuesday, Dec 5th York Manor
We sing from 6:30-7:00pm so arrive at 6:15pm. Wear white and black.
Parents are welcome to stay for both shows as we only sing for 30 minutes each time.
GLEE will not be performing in the Dec 6th Jr Choir and Orchestra concert as this is my last masters class at UNB and I am not able to be at the concert.
An info letter was sent home Monday with students. Please return the bottom portion of the sheet so I know who will be at each show. Merci!

We would like to extend a big thank you to all
of our sponsors. Without you these programs would not be possible!
Good afternoon Park Street Families!
Sometimes it can be hard to help your children play an instrument when you don't play it yourself, so here
is the link to a Dropbox folder where Mrs. Moller (our string teacher) will be
uploading instructional violin videos. Please use these to help your children
when practicing, make sure to bookmark it!
Have a marvellous Monday!
