Hello families,

 

Spring has sprung and May is on it's way! While the school year seems to be rapidly slipping away, there is still lots going on! Here are the 'need to know' items for this week:

 


 
Our reading competition for the month of April ends Monday! All students must have their signed reading minutes submitted by Wednesday at the very latest to count towards our class total. 
Dreambox - please continue working on 2-3 lessons per week at home
This week we will be collecting food and clothing items for Greener Village. If you are willing and able to donate items, it would be greatly appreciated!
There will be a Buy-One, Get-One free book fair this week. Our class will be visiting the bookfair Wednesday.
A reminder that there is no school for students Friday, May 4th due to Council Day for teachers
All grade 4 classes will be writing provincial assessments in Math, Scientific Literacy and English/French Reading comprehension beginning May 22nd. Our class has begun doing some review exercises to prepare.

Monday May 7th - Heart and Stroke Foundation assembly
Friday, May 11th - Wetlands Field Trip to Corbett Brook with Ducks Unlimited
Monday, May 14th - No school due to NBTA Branch Meeting
Tuesday, May 15th - K to 2 Talent Show at 11:00 am
Thursday, May 17th - 3 to 5 Talent Show at 1:00 pm
Monday, May 21st - Victoria Day
May 22nd - June 1st - Provincial Assessments for grade 4 (Math, Scientific Literacy, French Reading, English Reading)
