Hello families!
I came across this great article explaining phonological awareness and how it is developed in the early years. Because your children are only in their third year of learning the French language, many of them are still working on building and strengthening their phonological awareness. What is Phonological Awareness?
As a side note, this website (understood.org) is a wonderful resource in general. There are many articles that provide information and support strategies for a variety of attention and learning challenges. As I continue to explore the site myself, I will continue to share articles I feel may be pertinent to our classroom community.
