What a great week in our classroom learning about and exploring apples! The students got to taste red delicious, granny smith, and golden delicious apples. We made apple sauce and everyone tried it. We did an experiment to see what would keep apples from turning brown (and what would make it turn the MOST brown). And we even painted with apples. Of course, we read tonnes of books about apples and the students enjoyed writing what they learned on sticky notes. After wondering about how apples grow and how apple juice was made, we watched some videos to find out. Lots of learning this week! Check out the gallery on my teacher page for more pictures.
