​The Woodstock Education Centre of Anglophone West School District and Craig Manufacturing honoured students who have worked extremely hard to make positive and lasting changes in their lives.

At a ceremony on May 25 in Woodstock, 10 students received Turnaround Achievement Awards.   

The Turnaround Achievement Awards go to students who have shown the most effort, commitment and perseverance in turning around their lives. It affirms the true spirit of education: to assist youth in facing challenges and to redirect their lives so that they may lead a productive future.

“This award is a well-deserved recognition to the students who did not give up,” said David McTimoney, superintendent, Anglophone West School District. “It is rewarding to see that you have persevered through the difficult times at school and found a higher level of success.”

Turnaround Achievement Awards went to the following students:

·         Isaac Gould, Nackawic Elementary School
