The District Education Council for Anglophone West School
District welcomed a new member at its public meeting on September 21.
Tanya Adams will represent sub-district 1, which covers the
area from Perth Andover to Saint-Francois-de Madawaska. Adams’ appointment is
to replace Sheila Gallagher who resigned in April.
“The council extends a warm welcome to Tanya Adams to this
important community position,” said Kimberley Douglass, chair, District
Education Council, Anglophone West School District. “We believe that Tanya has
much to contribute, especially with her involvement in PSSC's, and look forward
to working with her.”
Adams will serve until June 30,
2020, and will have the option to run in the next election in May 2020.
