 Presentations to Parents Regarding French Second Language Programs for the 2017-2018 School Year ASD-W

Please be advised that the ASD-W Presentation to Parents meetings, that were cancelled due to weather conditions, have been rescheduled for the following dates:
·        Thursday, December 8, 2016 – Leo Hayes High School Library – 6:30 pm

·        Monday, December 12, 2016 – Fredericton High School Theatre – 6:30 pm​


Please be advised that the attached information will be posted on our web site www.asd-w.nbed.nb.ca.  Registration for French Immersion for the 2017-2018 school year will be done electronically through the following hyperlink to the ASD-W web site:  Registration for French Immersion 2017-2018.   The registration form will be available from November 23 to December 20, 2016.

Instructions for parents who do not have access to a computer are included on the attached ‘Process’ document.
 
As part of this email we have attached, for school administrators, the Registration Process for the Grade 1, Grade 3 and Grade 6 Entry Programs.

Packages of the following information have been prepared for schools:

·      Everyone at their best: Learning French as a Second Language Brochure from the Department of Education and Early Childhood Development
 
This information will be forwarded to all Elementary Schools through the school mail.  Both documents are to be sent home with ALL Kindergarten students, ALL Grade 2 students and ALL Grade 5 students (English Program) from your school regardless of whether French Immersion is offered in your school or not.
