ROY’S WEEKLY ROAR June 12- June 16, 2017
The last month of school has arrived. This is a busy month with lots taking place, so please check your child’s communication bags often, teacher pages, and school website.
Cafeteria - As this is the last month of cafeteria we have been informed that the menu may change (slightly) daily. The last day of cafeteria will be Thursday, June 15th.
We hope the sun and warm weather is here to stay!  Please apply sunscreen before coming to school to ensure your child is protected at recess and lunch. 
 
The Summer Basket is now on display in the lobby outside the office.  Thank you for the lovely donations and to our Home and School for organizing this fundraiser.  Tickets will be sold at our picnic.
 
Monday June 12- Grade 2 students to Royal Road Park
 
Tuesday June 13- Grade 5 students to Green Hill Lake/Kindergarten picnic
Wednesday June 14- Grade 4 Lafrance and Theriault field trip
Thursday June 15- Grade 4 Lisson and Crammond field trip (K picnic rain-date)
·         All classes will visit the library to create their Summer Reading Wish List.
Friday June 16- Showcase 11:00 followed by Family Picnic
·         Please visit our Pop up Library that will be on display during the Showcase and picnic (located in the lobby upstairs near the cafeteria).
Grades 3-5 Chess Club every Mon. Tues. and Fri.   New players always welcome.
 A Look Aheadà
June 19- K-2 Field Day/ Talent Show Dress Rehearsal after school for grade 5 students involved (more information to come) / Leadership pizza party.
June 20- Kindergarten Magician Visit/ Jump Rope Assembly/ Grade 5 Welch class party/Grade 1 classes walk to Royal Road Park.
June 21- Grade 5 Celebration 10:30am
June 22- Grade 4 Lisson and Crammond Pizza party/ RRES Got Talent Show 10:20am
June 23- Last day of school for students- Students will be dismissed at 11:30.
