​ROY’S WEEKLY ROAR June 19- June 23, 2017

Cafeteria- There will be NO cafeteria this week. 

We hope the sun and warm weather is here to stay!  Please apply sunscreen before coming to school to ensure your child is protected at recess and lunch. 

We had a great turn out to our school picnic and showcase.  We would like to thank Mrs. Hildebrand, Mrs. Cook and the Nashwaaksis Public Library for organizing our Pop-Up Library Book Tasting. 

We would also like to thank our Home and School Committee and the volunteers who helped make our picnic a great success.  Finally, thank you to the families who were able to come to our picnic and showcase.  Students worked hard and enjoyed sharing their projects with you. It’s wonderful when our school community comes together!  THANK YOU!!!

June 19^th-23rd

June 19- K-2 Field Day (k-2 students will be outside for most of the morning.  Please wear sneakers, bring water bottle, hats, etc). There will be some water activities so may want to pack a change of clothes.​

·          Talent Show Dress Rehearsal after school for grade 5 students who are involved.

·           Leadership pizza party at lunch.

June 20- Kindergarten Magician Visit

·         Jump Rope Assembly 1pm- Ms Douglas and Mrs. Burnett are getting WET!!!!

·         Grade 5 Welch class party

·         Grade 1 classes walk to Royal Road Park.

June 21- Grade 5 Celebration at 10:30am.  Congratulations to all of our grade 5 students!  We wish you the very best in Middle School next year.

June 22- Grade 4 Lisson and Crammond Pizza party. Grade 3 Black Pizza Party.      

·          RRES Talent Show at 10:20am

June 23- Last day of school for students- Students will be dismissed at 11:30 am
