Nashwaaksis Memorial Elementary School operates a daily breakfast program where teams of Grade 5 students volunteer to load up serving boxes of food items

each morning and then head out to high traffic areas in the school to offer healthy snacks to their fellow classmates coming in from the playground.

The program is sponsored by corporate and community donations. Over 30 Grade 5 students have volunteered for the program to make it a school-wide success.

Up to 125 breakfast food items are distributed each day.
