Students at Leo Hayes High School are celebrating the success of their efforts to organize and help the Stuff the Bus  campaign in support of the Student Hunger Program operating in 18 schools in the greater Fredericton area. Enough donations have been raised to fill the bus with food.

Through the Student Hunger Program, numerous lunches are provided for students as well as backpacks of take home food items for a number of families on a weekly basis.

Teacher and staff advisor Kim MacDonald was recently recognized for her work with the Student Hunger Program. In honor of her efforts, Leo Hayes' new student hunger kitchen facility was officially opened and named in her honour earlier in the school year.
