Park Street Elementary School is hosting the Confucius Institute Art Performance Troupe on September 26 at 9:30-10:30 a.m.  The 25 members of the troupe comes from the Art Department of Beijing Normal University. Their performances integrate classical and modern elements, including dance, costumes, traditional Chinese folk songs and a variety of instruments. The Troupe has performed in Canada, the United States, Italy, Denmark, Sweden and other countries winning great acclaim from local audience. Provincial and municipal dignitaries have accepted invitations to attend the event, including deputy premier and MLA for Fredericton North Stephen Horsman.​ The local media may be present to cover this event.
