​Montgomery Street School Terry Fox Run is being held on October 29th.  As of today, we have collected $700.   We thank all who have made a donation.  If you have not yet done so, it is not too late.  We are working collectively with other area schools to raise $20 000.  If we do so, the Clark Family Foundation will also donate $20 000 to the Terry Fox Foundation.  Donations can made electronically, at http://www.terryfox.org/SchoolRun/.   Click on “Terry Fox School Run” on the home page, then “Donate to a school/student” under Parents, and follow the directions. 

 Parents have been invited to our Terry Fox Run for many years.  Because of the pandemic, we cannot continue that tradition this year.  To raise school spirit, classes are being challenged to collect “Car Honks For Terry” and are being encouraged to create signs asking drivers they meet to honk their horns.  Teachers will keep score to see which class has bragging rights as the winner of this friendly competition.  If you can, please feel free to drive by your child’s class as they walk the route and make some noise. If the date of the run is changed, due to weather, a voice mail will be sent out. ​
