Hello MAS Families! We have had a great week back after March break. As you may have noticed there is construction going on to reinforce the brick on the chimney. Our k-2s have been using the 3-5 door to come in and out to avoid the work area. Today most of our gr 3-5 students got to attend the UCoupe/UCup Hockey game. They were quite excited for this opportunity and reports back is that they had a great time. A wonderful experience to enjoy!
 
Information Items- 
Home and School Meeting- There will be a home and school meeting on Monday March 19th at 6:00pm. All are welcome to attend. 
Library- We are in the midst of moving some classes downstairs around. We would like any volunteers that would be willing to come in and help move furniture then move books and set up the library in a new classroom. If you are able to help out please let me know. 
York Care- Our grades 2 and 5s will be going to York Care on Thursday at 10:30am. 
Business Expo- Our grade 5 students are taking part in an entrepreneurship program and have invented and created some wonderful products to sell. Our whole school community (friends, families, relatives, neighbors) are invited to come to their business expo on Wednesday April 4th and SHOP! They will have their products for purchase. Please come out and support their efforts and learning. 
 
This Week- 
Monday March 19- MAD Science afterschool. Drama practice at lunch. Home and School Meeting 6pm. 
Tuesday March 20- Bagel Hot lunch. Intramurals. ASD-W STEAM Expo Woodstock
Wednesday March 21- Drama afterschool 12-1:30pm
Thursday March 22- Gr 2 and 5 visit York Care. April Hot lunch order forms are due. 
Friday March 23- Grs 3-5 to LHHS to listen to NB Jr Orchestra. LHHS clubs. 
 
Upcoming Dates-
March 27- Full day PL for Teachers. NO school for students.
March 30- Good Friday. No school
April 2- Easter Monday. No school
April 4- Grade 5 Business Expo
April 9- Report Cards go Home
April 12- Parent Teacher Interviews evening
April 13- No school. Parent Teacher Interviews morning/Teacher PL afternoon. 
April 16- PSSC Meeting 6pm.
