This award is presented in recognition of your citizenship at Nackawic High School. Every day at Nackawic High School you are a constant shining light. Whether it is your singing in the hallway from class to class or your extremely enthusiastic “Hello!” to teachers and students of NHS, you are someone who only looks to brighten the days of others. Connor Jones – Nighthawk of the Month for

​Organization and Respect

This award is presented in recognition of your organization and respect at Nackawic High School. You coordinated the Remembrance Day Ceremony and were very efficient in making sure the guests were well taken care of and that the lunch was provided for them. You have also taken on the role of manager for the JV Boys Basketball Team and are very organized in ensuring drivers sheets are filled out, scorekeepers are arranged for home games, and many other duties. You also have proven to be a successful student academically, with a strong work ethic and positive attitude at all times. You are a role model to all students. Madison MacDonald – Nighthawk of the Month

for Community Service

This award is presented in recognition of the community service initiatives you have organized this year at Nackawic High School. You have been working diligently to support the Debec Animal Shelter this semester, volunteering your time and organizing the collection of donations here at school to provide support to the shelter. The passion you have demonstrated in supporting this cause does not go unnoticed and is having a positive impact in our community. You are a role model to all students. Leadership

This award is presented in recognition of your leadership at Nackawic High School. You have been an active member of Best Buddies this year. You have attended all of the events, assisting in the organization of them and ensuring that all members feel involved. You recently attended a Leadership Conference where you were able to work with students from across New Brunswick in order to promote the group’s inclusivity goals. There is never a time you are seen around the school without an encouraging and welcoming smile on your face. You are a role model to all students.
