Male Athlete – Bailey Moorcroft – Grade 11 

Awarded in recognition of Bailey’s contributions to the Junior Boys’ Basketball team.  Bailey has led by example in all practices and games.  He is quickly becoming a force under the basket, averaging 8.6 points, 9.7 rebounds and 4 blocks a game.  His coaches have been impressed with his maturity, unselfishness and role modeling he has displayed to his younger teammates. 

Female Athlete – Sofia MacFarlane – Grade 9 

Awarded in recognition of Sofia’s contributions to the Senior Girls’ Basketball team.  As a rookie, Sofia has become a starter on a team with many returning players.  She has led the team in rebounding and assists while becoming one of the top ball-handlers on the team.  At a recent tournament in Grand Manan Sofia was selected as Tournament All-Star; her potential is limitless.
