Hello MAS families! I want to 'Thank' the students for participating and performing in such a wonderful Remembrance Day ceremony. I also would like to 'Thank' Master Corporal Wellwood for sharing a few words with our students about Remembrance day and what it means to him. This was greatly appreciated.  

A few reminders: 

No School- Reminder there is no school tomorrow, November 9th and on Monday, November 12. 

School Clothing Order- Clothing orders are due back on Thursday, November 15. This is completely optional. You can use schoolcashonline to pay, but we ask that all order forms please be returned to the school.

Parent- Teacher Interview Times- Parent Teacher appointment letter will be coming home on Tuesday. Please be sure to select times and return your form. 

Report Cards- Report cards for term one will be sent home on Tuesday, November 20. There are links posted on our website that offer information about the report cards, and assessment and evaluation. Parent teacher interviews will follow on Thursday, November 22nd in the evening and on Friday, November 23rd in the morning.  We encourage all parents to attend and meet and talk with your child's teacher and to learn about your child's academic progress. 

Clothing Exchange- Reminder that we will be looking for winter clothing donations. We will begin collecting items here at the school starting on November 13th to November 21st (letter coming home on Tuesday, Nov.13) During that time you can drop off your clean and in good condition items to be donated. During Parent Teacher interview days the clothing will be out in the gymnasium for families to browse through and take as needed. 

Hot Lunch Order Forms- Order forms will be coming home on Tuesday, November 13. Please note we have added pizza for Mondays.

Tuesday, Nov. 13- Choir practice at 9:45am.. Tot's N Taters Hot lunch. Estey Afterschool Art Program

Wednesday, Nov. 14- 

Thursday, Nov. 15- Hot lunch Great Canadian Bagel.  Clothing orders due. PSSC and Home and School Meeting 6pm & 7pm

Friday, Nov. 16- LHHS clubs, Tot's N Taters Hot lunch.

November 21- Grade 3-5 selected students Badminton at Currie Centre. 

November 22- Parent-Teacher Interviews 4-7pm.

December 11- School Trip to MOCO for Christmas Dinner

December 12- Christmas Concert at 10:00am

December 13- Christmas Concert in case of snow day.

December 19- Student Shopping Spree

December 21- Last Day before Christmas.
