​In June 2018, a letter was sent home regarding Royal Road's new multi-age team initiative. Students will take part in team building activities; anti-bullying strategies, peer relationships, multiculturalism, inclusion, social and emotional learning. This was a great initiative that was added to our school culture last year and we would like to continue this year with all of our new students to Royal Road.

Students have been assigned a school colour team and will remain in this colour-team for the remainder of their elementary years. At this time, an order will be placed for new students as well as students who have outgrown their t-shirts from last year. This is your time to order as we will only be placing one order on Friday, October 4th, for this school year. The cost is $9.70 this year and you can pay on School Cash online or send the money along with your child's size and name in a sealed envelope or zip lock to your child's teacher. Sizes range from Youth Small to Youth Extra-Large and Adult Small to Adult Extra-Large.

Students will be encouraged to wear their team colour during various times throughout the school year. Please keep a close eye on email, calendars, school website, etc. for team updates.
