Grand Falls Region Moves to Orange Alert Level on April 16

To the Families of John Caldwell School,

As of midnight tonight, April 15, 2021, the Grand Falls Region of Health Zone 4 will move to the Orange Alert level. Specific to ASD-W, this change will impact John Caldwell School only.

The Orange Alert level means staff and students will still be required to follow specific safety measures, particularly around mask-wearing, however in the Orange level, masks are not required while students are engaged in sports activities during physical education class.


As in the Red Alert level, extra-curricular music activities, such as choir and band are not permitted, however sports activities are now limited to practices within a single team. Please review the full details of the Orange level directives by clicking on this link:
