​Play allows children to use their creativity while developing their imagination.  It can also improve dexterity and physical, cognitive, and emotional strength. Play is important to healthy brain development.  It is through play that children at a very early age engage and interact in the world around them.

Many months of planning and fund raising were dedicated to our two playground upgrades before we received our first cost estimates in 2016.

-In February 2017: Federal and Provincial governments responded to our proposals and announced cost share funding.   

-The playgrounds were constructed over the summer of 2017.
