A national organization has taken notice of Nashwaaksis Middle School teacher Jill Johnson and her dedication to improving the financial literacy of students.

The Canadian Foundation for Economic Education presented Johnson with a certificate of appreciation for her work to promote the Talk with Our Kids About Money (TWOKAM) program with students and staff.

The TWOKAM program provides teachers and parents with free tools and resources designed to help them have relevant, age appropriate conversations about money with youth.

Planning is underway for a TWOKAM event at Nashwaaksis Middle School on April 13, 2017.

In this video, Johnson expresses her excitement for the TWOKAM program.
