Minto Elementary/Middle School hosted Premier Brian Gallant on April 13, at which time he announced that 67 schools around the province would offer early French immersion in September.
Twenty-two schools in the Anglophone West School District
will offer early French immersion in 2017-18, including six that do not
currently: Minto Elementary/Middle School, Keswick Ridge School, Montgomery Street
Elementary School, Assininboine Avenue Elementary School, Gesner Street Elementary School and Forest Hill
Elementary School.
The other schools in Anglophone West School District that will offer early French immersion in 2017-18 are:
