​History came to life on May 10, 2017 in Woodstock during the 2017 Anglophone West School District Regional Heritage Fair.

More than 100 students from 22 schools presented hands-on, multi-media presentations on Canadian people, legends, milestones and achievements.

“Congratulations to all the students from Anglophone West School District who proudly showcased their projects,” said Superintendent David McTimoney. “So many great stories about our province and country were told.”

Best of luck to Joshua Rossignol and Kane Fitzpatrick of Tobique Valley High School, Brendan MacIntosh of Bliss Carman Middle School and Ryan Tabbernor of Ridgeview Middle School who all advanced to the provincial showcase being held June 24-25, 2017 at the Albert County Museum and R.B. Bennett Centre in Hopewell Cape.​
