Zone 3 Rapid Testing Order - December 10, 2021

Dear ASD-W Parents and Guardians,
Due to rising case counts in the Fredericton and Upper River
Valley Area (Health Zone 3),
all kindergarten to grade 8 students in schools
with a confirmed Covid-19 in the past 14 days must complete daily rapid testing
every day until December 23, 2021.
At that time, the situation will be
reassessed, and further direction provided regarding the next steps.
In schools where Public Health has not confirmed a case in
the past 14 days or in the next two weeks, this is a recommended measure; but
not mandatory. Full details are provided in the attached letter from Dr. McKelvie, Regional Medical Officer of
Health. Please take the time to read through it carefully.

Please note, schools will be distributing rapid test kits
on Monday
