Good Evening Families of George Street Middle School and Hartland Community
School,
This message is to advise you that Public Health has reported additional
confirmed cases of COVID-19 from your school communities. The previous
Public Health letter still applies. Students are asked to continue with
their daily rapid tests, with the exception of those in Grades 9 to 12
(Hartland) who are vaccinated. Those who continue testing negative,
including the morning of Monday, December 20, and show no symptoms of COVID may
report to regular classes on Monday.
Please be reminded that students in Grades K to 6 have now finished classes
for the holiday season. Students in Grades 7 and 8 are scheduled to
finish for the holiday season at the end of the day on Tuesday, December
21. Students in Grades 9 to 12 are scheduled to finish for the holiday
season at lunch on Thursday, December 23.
Please remember that if one COVID symptom appears, you
must self-isolate and book a PCR test.
