A reminder that Burton Elementary School will be participating in the National Orange Shirt Day in recognition of the struggles our First Nations people had so many years ago. The events were designed to commemorate the residential school experience, to witness and honour the healing journey of the survivors and their families, and to commit to the ongoing process of reconciliation.

So, everyone please wear Orange on Wednesday, September 30th!! Our Administrative Assistant, Mrs. Morabito will try to get some class photos to commemorate the day!
