I've just sat and mapped out next week and thought I would remind you of a few things that are coming up.
All Grade 8 Girls are reminded that GO Girls takes place Monday, Feb. 20th so they all need to have their bag lunch and comfy active wear for Monday. Thanks to those who have already brought in permission slips. The remaining Grade 8 girls are asked to remember to bring them first thing Monday morning. There will be regular classes for Grade 8 boys, and we have simply reconfigured the order of their classes slightly; but they will have all their regular subjects Monday. The Active Boys event is in May and they will have their turn at the Civic Centre then.
The Book Fair is next week. Students will visit the fair for viewing only on Tuesday and are to bring money to make purchases on Wednesday or Thursday.
There are no classes for students Friday, February 24th as it is a professional learning day.
On behalf of the FMS staff, I would like to extend very sincere thanks to all parents and families who treated us this week as a part of Staff appreciation week. We very much appreciated the meal today, the help with supervision Wednesday and Friday, all the amazing treats we enjoyed all week, the kind messages and the donated gifts for the draws. Thanks again to our PSSC, and in particular our chair, Victoria Hutt, for taking the time to spoil us this week. It was very much appreciated!
