The Loran Scholars Foundation scholarship, valued at $100,000 over 4-years, is awarded to students with demonstrate the character qualities of integrity, courage, compassion, determination, and a high level or personal autonomy. Students must have a minimum average of 85% and be attending select universities in Canada to be considered for this scholarship. Atlantic Canadian universities include: Dalhousie, Memorial, Mount Allison, King's College and University of New Brunswick. Harvey High School is able to sponsor up to 3 candidates for this scholarship. If you wish to be sponsored by the school, please complete a Request for Scholarship Recommendation form. Under the "What do you hope your referee will highlight in their recommendation letter?" section, please indicate why you should be selected for sponsorship. Attach a separate sheet if more space is needed. Deadline for this form is Thursday, Sept. 24th. Please turn in to Ms. Wood. Those selected for the sponsored pool: Scholarship deadline is October 15th.
Candidates not selected for the sponsored pool can apply to the direct pool. Deadline is October 22nd.
