Hello MAS Families. We have had a wonderful week at MAS! On
Wednesday our friends of the Kiwanis Club came by with lots of gifts for
outdoor garden, classroom, gift cards, etc. They have adopted our little school
for the next three years offering support with volunteering for breakfast
program, funding events and learning materials, and so much more. We are truly
excited for this great opportunity! Hard to believe we are moving into the
second to last month of the school year.

Parent Virtual Presentation
- Child and Youth will be
hosting our parents online on
Wednesday, May 5th at 6:30pm

The presentation will focus on anxiety and strategies to work with your child.

Jump Rope for Heart
- Last Monday was our kick off to
Jump Rope for Heart! The challenge is out there to be the TOP fundraisers to be
able to “Pie” their choice of a teacher or Principal in the face. Fundraising
forms due back May 10th.
Whole School Snack
- This Wednesday we will be having
fruit cups from Great Canadian Bagel and mini muffins as a nutrition break for
all.
Grade 5 Swimming-
Grade 5s will begin their swim
program on
Thursday, May 6th
. Please be sure to bring a
towel, bathing suite, and underclothes (some often wear suite under clothing in
the morning and under clothing is often forgotten)
No School
- Reminder there is no school for students

Friday, May 7th
. This is NBTA professional learning day
for teachers.
