Posts: Continuation of Learning Plan Grade 4- Week 2

Hi Everyone,
Welcome to week two of our continuation of learning plan! Attached you will find some activities and lessons related to literacy, numeracy, science and physical education.  In addition to the suggested activities, please encourage your child to read for at least 30 minutes per day- perhaps as part of their bedtime routine?
In the upcoming weeks I will be contacting each student by phone to check in with their learning so far. In addition to checking in with parents via email each week, I will make these student phone calls at least once per month. I would like to speak directly to each student to find out how they are progressing with the suggested activities and lessons, and if they have any questions or concerns that they'd like to share. This will be a great opportunity for students to practice some of our Literacy outcomes for speaking and listening! :)  Before I begin making these calls, I will send out an email to give you a heads up about what day(s) I will be calling.
Remember that all activities are suggestions and are not mandatory; feel free to pick and choose what works best for you and your child. If you have any questions or concerns, please don’t hesitate to get in touch- we’re in this together!
Sincerely,
Mrs. Coes
