In grade 6 science we are looking at how fossils are created and how the remains of animals and evidence of animals are recorded from the distant past. In our last class we created sample "fossils" by burying hard objects (representing bones) in plaster (representing mud) We will look at these and other real fossils on Wednesday.

Also on Wednesday we will be creating some other types of "fossils" - by imprints and replacement.
