Today in 8 Math we looked at what the provincial exam mental math questions look like, and practiced answering 3 questions. I stressed that students need to always ask "Is my mental math Effective AND Efficient?"

Students were given a Checklist of Outcomes for the unit, which is to be at the front of their integer unit. Students need to be collecting 3 pieces of evidence (classwork, exit cards, journals, unit test).

Homework tonight: Pg. 92, #10, 13 and 14.

To finish the class we made our first journal entry: Show/explain how to multiply/divide and use order of operations for integers. Picures/models/examples are encouraged.
