Today we had a discussion about what micro-organisms are, and how we go about tying to see them. We watched a short video about microscopic pond life and then we learned about the parts of the microscope. In our second period of science we went to the science lab, where I reviewed safety procedures. We then used the microscope viewers to look at prepared slides of different types of microorganisms and various cells.
