Posts: 3D shapes and tesselation unit

We started a VERY short unit just before Christmas that deals with drawing various views of 3D shapes (objects made from blocks) building shapes from the views and tesselations.

For this unit I am teaching the class the outcomes in short lessons, and then giving the students time to work on practice from the textbook.  Assessment will be based on 3 pieces of evidence of learning, such as a journal entry, target questions, hands-on/direct observation.  I have given each student an outline of the unit and a list of text questions to work on for practice.  Students have the option of working as quickly as they want through this unit, which will allow them to start the next unit at their own pace.

This is the word document that was given to the class today.
