Staff Supervision at School Events
Body:
School athletics, school dances and all extra activities that are put on for students are considered school events. These events are being supervised by staff members volunteering their time after the hours of instruction.
When you see staff members at these events please respect their supervisory authority under the Education Act, because without their presence and support these events would not occur. Please remember that they are volunteering their time and ensuring that school and safety procedures are being followed.
