Black History Month Student Essay Competition

RBC is pleased to offer a new scholarship competition being held for Grade 12 students in collaboration of Black History Month. 

 
PRUDE Inc. organizes bus tours for schools, guest speakers and community events in February to bring awareness to our local Black History.  This year, RBC Royal Bank, invite students to share their thoughts in a 750 Word Essay on how black Canadians have helped to define Canada’s diverse heritage and identify through their achievements and contributions to the broader society.  Students will qualify to win one of five $500.00 scholarships in Atlantic Canada and one of three National Grand Prizes of up to $5,000.00.
 
Essay’s must be submitted by December 5, 2014 and winners will be announced in early February in time for 2015 Black History Month.
