Drama Festival Plays at Hampton High
The Hampton High School Theatre Company is busy preparing for the 2014 New Brunswick Provincial Drama Festival. Our two entries for this year are Ghosts and Memoria. Ghosts is a play about bullying, written and directed by grade 12 student Damon Gordon.  Memoria centers around a group of high school students who study the lives of the World War l soldiers whose names appear on the Cenotaph at Veteran's Park in Hampton. This piece is partly adapted from Hampton Remembers, a volume of narratives researched and published by the HHS Modern History students of 2007-2008. Both plays will be performed at the Hampton High Theatre on the evening of Wednesday, May 7th. Admission is a free will offering. All donations will be used to offset production costs. Curtain time is 7:30pm.
