September 29th –October 03rd , 2014 has been designated as Safe Schools Week for ASDW. This has become an annual event within our district which consists of five days each fall that are dedicated to helping students, teachers, parents, and administrators raise awareness of the need to keep our schools safe. This week offers an opportunity to focus on the safety and security of our schools, and provides a special opportunity to educate the public about the safety initiatives schools implement to encourage a safe and caring learning environment.
