This is a message from Mrs. Savoie, principal at Forest Hills School.

Thank you for another great school year here at FHS! 

We have a few items I’d like to share:

The City is still looking for the community’s feedback about a possible splash pad at FHS.  Any feedback you can give will help us get the best outcome for our children.  This is a fantastic opportunity. Please take a moment to complete their online survey at www.saintjohn.ca/foresthills .  They are looking for feedback on what the splash pad should include, lighting, city bus stops, a possible addition of a skate park, and anything else that you can think of.  If you have any questions, please feel free to contact Parks & Recreation or Councilor Strowbridge directly.

If you are interested in hosting an international student next year, starting in September, please contact Maggie Power the AEI Homestay Coordinator at 693 7447 (h) or 343 3575 (c).  Thank you!

If you didn’t have a chance to pick up report cards, they will be available in the office on Monday and Tuesday.

School supply lists are posted on our website.  Also, please mark your calendars for our PSSC Election/Open House that will be on Wednesday, August 30^th, 5:30-7:30.  This is a great opportunity to meet the teacher and drop off school supplies.  We find this helps a lot for overcoming first day of school anxiety!
