Principal's Message ~ Friday, September 22nd, 2017

Forest Hills School

We Build Inclusion, Capacity, and Learning Communities

September 22nd,  2017

This is a message from Mrs. Savoie, principal at Forest Hills School.

First of all, sorry for the wait on hot lunch.  We will be collecting hot lunch orders on October 5th for our first week of food on the 10th.  As in the past, we will be collecting exact change, but will be moving to a cashless system and will keep you updated.

Our grade 7 immunization clinic will be held on Tuesday the 26th.

We will be participating in our school wide Terry Fox walk on Thursday afternoon.  Please bring in a “Toonie for Terry” and support cancer research!

On Friday, we are asking our students to wear orange shirts as a symbol of the wrongs done by the residential school system to Aboriginal children and communities. We will be collecting house points for participation.

Elementary School Photo Day will be on October 11th and Middle School photo day will be on October 12th.

Don’t forget to return your yellow “Drive one 4 Your PALS School” slip by Thursday the 28th to be entered in a draw.  You are under no obligation to buy, but every test drive on Saturday, September 30th will earn $20 for FHS!  Come support our school!

Remember Falcons, Be Respectful, Be Responsible, and Be Safe!

Have a nice weekend,

Melissa Savoie

Principal

Forest Hills School
