Summer French Program at the Université de Moncton

Each summer, the Université de Moncton plays host to the Summer French Program Camp. All current Grade 9 and Grade 10 students are eligible (Immersion students and English students). This is sponsored by the Department of Education and Early Childhood Development. 

Application Process

Deadline: Friday, February 26th, 2016

Students are asked to fill out the application form and submit it to their French teacher (Post-Intensive French or French Immersion Language Arts) by the deadline. Students must also include a deposit of $100 (cheque written to the Minister of Finance - New Brunswick) with their application. Teachers will review the student's application form, sign it and include a comment regarding the candidate's suitability for the program.

The application is then submitted to the District French as a Second Language Subject Coordinator, who recomments participants base on the district quota and selection criteria. Students may be placed on a waiting list.

Additional Information

There are 100 seats available in the program. Each school district receives a quota for the seats, both French Immersion and Post-Intensive French.
