This day was created in 2004 to draw attention to discrimination faced by many in our society.  Since then, more than 130 countries mark this day annually to unite people in support of human rights for all, irrespective of their sexual orientation, gender identity or expression.

HVHS Gay Straight Alliance would like to invite all students to join us at the Rainbow Peace March on Tuesday, May 17th at 5:.30 PM to mark the International Day Against Homophobia and Transphobia.

We will be meeting at Fort LaTour off of Harbour Passage at 5:30 PM  We will be walking through the downtown area and the walk will conclude with a reception at Peel Plaza.

Vikings show you care and wear your rainbow colors to school on Tuesday and join us on Tuesday night at 5:30 PM at Fort LaTour.

The HVHS GSA will have a table in the main hall today at lunch.  Drop by and sign up for the Rainbow Peace March and pick up your rainbow ribbon.
