Good afternoon Raider Families!

Check out our website at rvms.nbed.nb.ca or on Twitter @RVMiddle

The RVCC is sponsoring a Youth Engagement Forum tomorrow, Wednesday, April 24th. Please see the attached flyer and come out and support this initiative to engage youth in positive activities in our community.RVCC Engagement Forum.docxRVCC Engagement Forum.docx

I have a few important messages this afternoon.

1.       You will notice that the Canadian Forces has set up a command post on the “Zamboni” end of the rink. They are providing support to families in our area affected by flooding. They have blocked all through traffic so we ask that all families use the Epworth Park Road entrance when visiting the school (and for drop-off and pick-up for the next few days).

2.       School buses may be affected by flooding. Please listen to radio or register for Bus updates on the ASD-S homepage.

3.       YEARBOOKS for 2018-2019 have been on sale all month. They are still available for pre-order until May 3rd. The cost is $20 and they must be purchased on Cashless Schools. We will only not be ordering extra copies, so please make sure to purchase before the deadline. All proceeds go to support our ASAP activities.

4.       We are once again struggling with students using the phones inappropriately. I mentioned this on announcements this morning and expect to see an immediate improvement as students realize that they will lose the privilege of having their phones during the school day if I do not see an improvement.

Please review appropriate cellphone/electronics usage with your child.
