Since 1993, Simonds High School has recognized and honoured the contributions of some of its outstanding Simonds family by inducting new members into their Wall of Fame approximately every five years. The next induction will take place in the spring of 2015 at the school. Nominees can be any person / group directly associated with the school for a minimum of two school years. There are four categories in which a person may be recognized; they are Academic, Social, Career or Athletic (player, builder or coach). There are many members of the Simonds community who have achieved recognition as a scholar or as an athlete / coach. Others have achieved prominence through outstanding citizenship, humanitarianism or significant recognition in their chosen career. Our school would like the opportunity to recognize them. If you know anyone who would meet these qualifications and would like to nominate them for this award, please check for the criteria and application form under the alumni tab of the Simonds High School website.  Applications can be emailed to :

Applications can also be mailed to the Wall of Fame Committee, Simonds High School, 1490 Hickey Rd., Saint John, NB, E2J 4E7 (Attention: Terry Langille or Jill Eckstone) or dropped off at the school office from 8AM – 4PM on weekdays.

The deadline for applications is January 31st, 2015; winners will be notified by the end of February 2015. Examples of some alumni previously recognized on the Simonds Wall of Fame would be: Social – Mel Vincent, Athlete – Monica Hitchock, Academic – Gordon Kierstead, Coach – Mike Upward.
