Good Day IVS Families!
 
Picture Day – is this Wednesday, September 28th.
 
Terry Fox – please send in any donations for Terry Fox up until September 29th.  We will have our walk on Thursday starting at 12:30pm.  Parents are welcome to join us on the walk in support of Terry and cancer research.
 
IVS 5K and 1K Fun Run – We are seeking individual able to volunteer for this event. If you can help out leading up to or the day of the event please contact Mrs. Goguen at trina.goguen@nbed.nb.ca.
 
Our annual 5K and 1K Fun Run is scheduled for Saturday, Oct. 15 so mark that date!  You won’t walk to miss this great event for the whole family in support of healthy active lifestyles.  Set a family goal and consider training for this run or walk event.
 
Rainbows -We are hoping to offer this program for a group in K – 2 and a group in 3 – 5. The program is for students who have experienced some form of loss (eg. family separation, death in the family). There is information on our school website main page about the program. Please contact Mrs. O’Brien if interested in the K – 2 Program (connie.o’brien@nbed.nb.ca) or Ms. Roy if you are interested in the 3 – 5 program (michelle.roy@nbed.nb.ca ). 
 
IVS Swinging for Cash 50 / 50 Fundraiser – don’t forget to play your “toonie” each week for a change to win!
 
Student Fee – a friendly reminder to please send in your student fee by the end of the month.

Oct. 5th – 3:45pm Final Cross Country Event at Simm’s Corner
Oct. 6th and 7th – No School / Professional Learning Days
Oct. 10th – No School / Thanksgiving
Oct. 15th – IVS 5K and 1K Fun Run
