There will be a Trades & Tech Gala for Girls event in Saint John on Tuesday, October 25th from 5:30-8pm at NBCC.

This event is designed for high school girls to learn about non-traditional careers for women (trades, engineering, policing, information technology, Canadian forces, etc) and to meet local women who are working in those careers. They get to learn about various jobs and ask questions directly to women who work in these fields in a small group setting.

The event is free to attend, is open to all high school aged girls in the area, and includes a free pizza dinner. One lucky student will also be going home with an iPad! Parents and teachers are welcome to attend as well.

Both NBCC and Apprenticeship will both hopefully be on site as well to answer questions and give information.
