​-        Reminder that there is no school tomorrow.  The book fair will run again tomorrow during Parent Teacher.

-        We will be in the front lobby again tomorrow during parent teacher to tell people about the new Home and School Fundraiser where for $20 ($10 stays at the school!) you can get a card that gives you local , national and international savings!  Great stocking stuffers, anniversary, birthday or just because you want to show someone you care gifts.  We will be selling these in the office too and will be sending home order sheets with students the first week in December.

-        Spoons! We are finding that we are going through an insane number of plastic spoons.  We have some on hand for someone who simply forgot a spoon BUT we are not going to be able to keep supplying spoons to everyone for their lunches.  If your child requires a spoon to eat their lunch, please include it in their lunchbag.

-        Astronomy Night – Friday November 24 6-8 in the Westfield Front yard.  Volunteers from the SJ Astronomy Club will be bringing their telescopes out so we can have a peek at the night sky.  Come and see “what is up”!

-        Looking for volunteers for weekly fluoride distribution.  Day is negotiable.

-        We have received some brochures regarding snowpasses for students in grade 4-5.  This program from the Canadian Ski Council. It would let students ski and snowboard at each participating ski area for $29.95.  If you are interested, let the office know and we will send home the brochure.  We did not receive brochures for all students in grades 4-5 and I do not want to simply waste paper.
