Hello! This is Ms. McGrath calling with a few reminders for Raiders and their families.
 
Orders for school clothing are due tomorrow at the office. We will not be able to take orders after that time but will have another opportunity to order late in November.
 
Picture Retake day is Monday, October 6th. Students who have returned their original proofs with the box marked indicating they would like a retake and any students who were absent on the original picture day are eligible for retakes. Retakes will not be done at the request of students unless they have met one of these criteria.
 
Our annual Terry Fox run is scheduled for this Friday during our Raider Time block. Students may donate to the Cancer Society if they wish. Our fundraising goal for this event is $500.
 
Finally, the RVMS Me To We group is planning a mini We Day here at the school on Sunday, October 5th from noon to 3 pm.
We will have: A BBQ, face painting, dunk tank, field games, scavenger hunt, kids’ korner, story time and so much more.  You can even learn more about the  Free the Children, Me to We, and how to become a We School. Its loads of fun for everyone.
Funds raised will go towards the school we are building in Nicaragua.
